About Kate

I'm a qualified interior designer, serial renovator, property owner and the original founder of Tiles by Kate.

I've always loved houses — working out what could be improved, what should stay, and how to make a property feel better without throwing money at it.

Over the years I've renovated my own properties, worked with trades, managed budgets and made plenty of mistakes along the way.

I've learnt that good property decisions aren't necessarily about spending more.

They're about knowing where to spend, what to change and what to leave alone.

That's what led me to Property Uplift.

I now help homeowners in the Northern Beaches look at their properties with fresh eyes and work out what is actually worth doing.

Sometimes it's a big transformation.

Sometimes it's a few simple changes.

And sometimes I'll tell you not to spend the money.

I like that part too.
